We ship our passion worldwide (excluding some remote areas and parts of Asia). Our goal is to get your seeds, sauces, and supplies to you swiftly and safely, so you can start growing and enjoying the heat!
Order Processing
We’re quick! Once your order is placed and payment is confirmed, our team gets to work packing your items with care.
- Processing Time: 1-2 business days.
- Orders are not shipped or processed on weekends or holidays.
- You will receive a tracking number via email once your order ships.

π Returns & Exchanges: Our Core Promise
At Pepper Joe’s, we want you to be as thrilled with your purchase as you are biting into a freshly grown Ghost Pepper. If you’re not satisfied, we’ll make it right. Most unused, unopened items in their original packaging can be returned within 15 days of delivery for a refund or exchange. Your happiness is our harvest!
The Step-by-Step Return/Exchange Process
- 1Initiate Your Request (Within 15 Days)
Contact our “Fire-Proofed” Support Team at [email protected] within 15 days of receiving your order. Include your order number and reason for the return/exchange. - 2Receive Instructions & RMA Number
We’ll review your request and email you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and detailed return shipping instructions. Do not send items back without an RMA. - 3Pack & Ship Your Return
Securely pack the item(s) in original packaging if possible. Include a copy of your order confirmation or a note with your RMA number and name. Ship to the address we provide.
Note: Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility, unless the return is due to our error (e.g., wrong item shipped). - 4Our Inspection & Processing
Once received, our team inspects the return (typically within 3-5 business days). We’ll email you once the inspection is complete. - 5Your Refund or Exchange is Handled
Upon approval, your refund is processed, or your exchange item is prepared for shipment.
Refund Timing & Method
We aim to process refunds as quickly as we germinate a Ghost Pepper seed!
- Timing: After approval, please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to be fully processed and appear in your account. Exact timing depends on your bank or payment provider.
- Method: Refunds are issued only to the original payment method used (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal). We cannot refund to a different card or account.
- Shipping Costs: Original shipping fees are non-refundable. For exchanges due to our error, we cover the reshipping cost.
πΆοΈ Exchange Note: Exchanges are subject to product availability. If your desired item is out of stock, we will issue a refund instead.
β οΈ Products We Cannot Accept for Return
Just as some peppers pack an irreversible heat, some products are not eligible for return due to their nature. We cannot accept returns for:
- Opened Seed Packets: This includes all seeds like Companion Seeds, Heirloom, Hybrid, Hot, Ghost, Carolina Reaper, and Herb. For the safety of our seed bank and our growers’ gardens, we cannot accept returns on any opened or seal-broken seed packets.
- Digital Products or Downloads: Any digital content is non-refundable.
- Opened Perishable Goods: This includes Dried Chili Peppers and Hot Sauces with compromised safety seals.
- Personalized or Custom Items: Any product customized at your request.
- Items Damaged After Delivery: Due to improper storage, planting, or use not per guidelines (e.g., plant health issues from incorrect use of Fertilizers & Plant Health products).
- Final Sale Items: Any item marked “Final Sale” on the website.
Important: If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or incorrect upon arrival, contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos. We’ll resolve it promptly at no cost to you!
